Indications:
• Treatment of Hypertension.
• Treatment of symptomatic heart failure.
• Prevention of symptomatic heart failure in patients with asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction (ejection fraction≤35%).
Dosage and Administration:
• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• It is very important to continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor prescribes it.
• Do not take more tablets than prescribed.
• Recommended dose to be swallowed with a glass of water:
• Your dose will be decided by your doctor and will be based on how well your kidneys are working.
Contraindication:
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
• History of ACE inhibitor-associated angioedema and in patients with hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
• Coadministration with aliskiren in patients with diabetes.
• Concomitant use with sacubitril/valsartan therapy. Enalapril must not be initiated earlier than 36 hours after the last dose of sacubitril/valsartan.
• Second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
